Preventive Dentistry
​
Prevention is the key to good dental hygiene.
It is recommended to come in for dental checkups every six months. Maintenance is key to prevention which may also translate to saving on major dental treatment costs in the long term.
Restorative Dentistry
Decay and cavities are common patient problems that are ideal to address sooner than later. Restoring a tooth is commonly known as a filling. Along with function, our dentists take the appearance of the tooth into consideration, which is why our dentists
use white composite fillings.
Our white fillings do not contain mercury therefore we ensure a safe and ideal solution to your teeth for the years to come.
Bridges
Replacing missing teeth can be achieved with dental bridges. This is performed by replacing the missing tooth with an artificial tooth attached to adjacent teeth.
Root Canal Treatment
Teeth can cause unforeseen symptoms such as severe and spontaneous pain, extreme tenderness, swelling around gums and/or face and even the forming of abscess when it is badly decayed or infected. Root canal treatment involves the removal of damaged nerves and blood vessels to clean and subsequently fill tooth canals with medication.
Although RCT is considered an invasive treatment, with the care and expertise of our dentists, you can be assured high quality care. If specialist care by an endodontist is required due to the complexity of your tooth we can arrange a referral.
Implant Dentistry
Dental implants are the most ideal way in which to replace missing teeth, support dental bridges and dentures. Without compromising other teeth a root replacement device is implanted into the jaw bone, left to heal and integrate into the bone before a natural-looking replacement tooth/teeth is placed.
Implants do not require the cutting down of adjacent teeth like bridges would and prevent further bone loss. With the look and function just like real teeth, implants have been the chosen treatment for our patients.

Porcelain & Composite Veneers
Veneers transform smiles. A fine layer of either porcelain or composite material is created and placed over the top surface of teeth to create an illusion of having straight, aligned and brighter teeth.
Veneers address aesthetic needs and promotes confidence for those who feel uncomfortable due to having crooked teeth, discolouration, chipped or cracked teeth. Often caused by wear and tear with age or trauma caused by accidents.
Crowns
Crowns, also known as a ‘cap’ are a form of dental restoration for patients who struggle with continuously cracked or chipped teeth.
Crowns aim to preserve the condition of a tooth and prevent further damage. Crowns are used to protect a tooth after a root canal treatment as vulnerable teeth and tend to become brittle and break more easily.
Cosmetic Dentistry
We provide a range of cosmetic dentistry treatments including teeth whitening, porcelain veneers, composite veneers and Invisalign.

Invisalign
Invisalign treatment is a popular option for its clear aligners and convenient wear. Through the use of clear aligners worn at approximately 2 week intervals, movement of teeth is achieved. Dentures
Dentures are removable appliances designed to replace missing teeth. They can be complete or designed for partial replacement of teeth. At EM dental, we offer both acrylic and chrome dentures and our technicians take great care in obtaining the fit, function and aesthetic of the highest quality.
Teeth Whitening
EM Dental offers both in-house and take-home treatments. Teeth whitening is a popular modern day procedure that enhances smiles by removing stains or discolouration of teeth.
Our take home kits are available and easy to use. A consultation with our dentists is encouraged if you are considering whitening options. Please arrange an appointment with our dentist to discuss your treatment options and determine suitability.
We also offer two forms of in-house treatments allowing you to sit back, relax and walk out with noticeable results.
